What to ask a motorcycle dealer in Des Moines, IA

What is the out-the-door price? Ask for freight, setup, documentation fees, and tax on paper before any talk of monthly payments.
Can I test ride it, and what do you need from me first? Most dealers want to see a motorcycle endorsement and expect you to bring your own helmet and gear.
On a used bike: what service history comes with it, and when were the tires and battery last replaced? Both are expensive to find out about later.
Does your service department work on what you sell, and how far out are they booking right now? The first service is due sooner than most riders expect.
