Last updated: June 26, 2026
1. Who We Are
2 Wheels in Common is a moto-meetup platform operated from Washington State, United States. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect information from users in the United States and Canada.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only what we need to operate the Service:
- Email address — collected when you join the waitlist or create an account
- Profile information — when the app launches: your name, general location, bike details and riding preferences you choose to provide
- Usage data — basic logs of how you interact with the Service (pages visited, features used) to help us improve it
- Device information — device type, operating system and browser for compatibility purposes
We do not collect real-time GPS location. General location (city or region) is used only to surface nearby riders and rides.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To operate and improve the Service
- To notify you when the app launches (waitlist only)
- To connect you with other riders in your area
- To send product updates and service announcements (you can opt out at any time)
- To comply with legal obligations
4. What We Do Not Do
We do not sell, rent or share your personal information with advertisers, data brokers or third parties for their own marketing purposes. Full stop.
5. Third-Party Services
We use Cloudflare to host and deliver the Service. Cloudflare may process request metadata (such as IP addresses) as part of that infrastructure. Their privacy practices are governed by Cloudflare's Privacy Policy. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics platforms that track you across other websites.
6. Data Retention
Waitlist email addresses are retained until you request removal or the app launches and you either create an account or ask to be removed. Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time and we will remove your data within 30 days.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your information
- Opt out of marketing communications at any time
California residents have additional rights under the CCPA. Canadian residents have rights under PIPEDA. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information in Section 10.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If we learn that we have collected information from a minor, we will delete it promptly.
9. Security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security and are not responsible for unauthorized access beyond our reasonable control.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version with an updated date. Significant changes will be communicated to users via email where possible.
